This is a new and exciting learning opportunity for students from Pre-K to Adult. We will be digging deeper into the Word of God in age-graded classrooms so that we can gain a greater understanding of God and enjoy discussion with a community of believers. Sunday School is before the service at Crown Point Christian School, from 9:00 - 9:45 a.m.
The focus of the Pre-K through 6th grade Sunday school curriculum is Jesus‘ life from birth to ascension. The children will learn about parables, the miracles of Jesus, many attributes of God, and how we can have a personal relationship with Him still today.
Children will be divided into the following age-graded classrooms:
The focus of the 7th and 8th grade Sunday school curriculum is to establish a foundation for lifelong faith formation. Students will learn about the Bible, creeds, discipleship, Jesus, other beliefs, and various “hot topics.”
The 9th – 12th grade high school Sunday School curriculum is “What We Believe” – Room A117
This popular Reformed high school course covers key aspects of the Reformed faith and worldview. This course will help Pathway teens to:
Adult – Room A151-The adult education will be a series by Ian Hamilton called “Calvinism and the Christian Life.”
We will view a 20-25 minute teaching, and discuss for 20 minutes following. This offering is great for those who are new to a “Reformed” church and wonder what that means, and those who want to dig deeper into what it means to be a “Calvinist.”
